Ben Simmons’ girlfriend Dylan Gonzales is an Instagram star in the million follower club. Back in October of 2016, we told you about Ben’s last girlfriend, Brittany Renner. She is also a member of the million follower club. As of this writing, she is beating Dylan handily in the follower race. Does this race actually exist? Not really. Are social media models competitive? Yes. Indeed they are. The business of social media modeling and advertising is also a lot more work then you might imagine. It’s important to note right off the bat that Dylan is a twin. Her twin sister is named Dakota. They are basketball stars at UNLV. I think they are also very competitive.
The first time Ben Simmons’ girlfriend showed up on his timeline was August 21, 2017. That means they started to date fairly recently. Generally speaking, girlfriends of athletes make their social media debut a few months into the relationship. I’m not going to attempt to peg the start of their dating, though. Speculation about high-profile relationships is folly. You can actually add in the futile attempt to figure out if they’re still together. The social media scrub is on, and neither one appears on the other’s feed. Subterfuge to hide, or the 2017 version of a public break? Tough to say.
I will say, however, Drake took major interest in the Gonzales twins. He showed up to watch them play back in Novemeber of 2015. The team apparently won by 70 points but he stayed until the end. How about that? I scratch my head and say “hmm” sarcastically.
I should probably also briefly mention Ben Simmons’ social media dispute with his sister. It’s just your typical young kids squawking like children publicly rather than speaking to each other face to face. Ben’s sister claimed he turned his back on her. She also said money doesn’t change people but reveals them. Don’t ask me about the details because I don’t know them. No casual observers do. All they saw was two kids sniping each other from their phone screens. I bet you Ben Simmons’ girlfriend Dylan knows what it’s all about though!
