This is a stupid, flippant post. But by god Jordan Crawford might be the smartest man alive. We wrote this seven years ago. And it still cracks me up.
JORDAN CRAWFORD’S GIRLFRIEND….. NO ONE
NBC 4 in Washington recently undertook the Pulitzer driven task of getting NBA advice from 4 players on the Washington Wizards: Trevor Booker, Roger Mason Jr., Shelvin Mack and Jordan Crawford (who combine for a grand total of 12 starts on the season). While there was a lot of tossaway advice and generic platitudes about how to treat your lady right (buy a Macbook, or write her a letter), there was one response which stuck out.
Second year player Jordan Crawford (most well known for dunking over LeBron James, and having LeBron’s people confiscate the tape of it happening) was surprisingly honest about his Valentine’s Day advice:
I’m the wrong person to talk to about Valentine’s Day. I usually get rid of my shorties around now.
An NBA player honestly discussing relationships, and his lack thereof? Refreshing if you ask us.
