We here at Playerwives get a lot of rumors flitting about, much gossip floating around, and many tips from our readers flying into our inboxes. Occasionally some of those tips seem plausible enough to mention, and this one seems decent since Marcus Mariotta's girlfriend Kiyomi Cook was reportedly at the Heisman ceremony with him. Previously, it was known that Marcus had dated his high school sweetheart Nicole Watase and that she attended the University of Oregon along with Mr. Mariota. If rumors are true, it would appear that Nicole is ancient history and Marcus has got a new girl, Kiyomi.
She also happens to be something of an athlete herself. Mariota's girlfriend Kiyomi Cook is from the town of Gresham, Oregon and plays center mid. She started college in 2011, so she's close to graduating or graduated by now. In a freshman interview when she arrived, she said she was "really bad at public speaking" and that she didn't know why she chose to attend Oregon other than she's been a Duck fan her whole life. She said her hidden talent is that she can make a really weird face, and then she did proceed to make a really weird face (which we have included here for you). She also mentions that Red Robin is her favorite place. Ah, another reaffirmation that instilling appreciation of fine cuisine is deader than dead in American culture.
Kiyomi says she admires her dad more than anyone but she doesn't know why other than "we don't really have a father/daughter relationship; it's more like just homies." She also does a less than memorable "Back at One" by Brian McKnight performance, but she seems well aware that she possesses no singing talent and that her actual skills lie on the soccer field. I have to admit, though, that after she sang the chorus of that song, I was reminded of how clever the lyrics are. Anyway, that's neither her nor there, and I hope Maruc Mariota's girlfriend Kiyomi Cook is having a rip-roaring good time dating Captain Heisman.
