Jason Hammel's wife Elissa Hammel joined as a guest commentator on the MLB Network to talk about making pork chops for Jason. Yeah, I guess they were running low on stuff to talk about, but she was there to give the recipe. Center cut pork loins, marinated in wine and spices 2-4 hours in the fridge minimum, and then you take them out and put them in a plastic bag with bread crumbs and parmesan cheese with a bunch of spices. She didn't even say what spices they were, though. I feel like they missed the point of the whole segment and didn't get specific enough.

Elissa first started dating Jason when they were both living in Florida. He'd been playing for the Rays, and this pork chop dish was one of the first ones she made for him. Jason Hammel's wife Elissa Hammel now has a son with him, and she's apparently become something of a chef now that she's taken up the cooking duties of the family. She said in the interview that Jason always asks for these magical pork chops every single time she asks him what he'd like to eat for dinner. Elissa went on to talk about how silent Jason was back in 2012 when he was on the verge of being voted in as a write-in all-star. Elissa had been pushing for the votes but he was keeping it cool.

Their son Beckett was born some time around 2012, and before they had their kid, they had their dog, a 40-pound boxer named Sadie who was with them, as Jason reports on his blog, "through the excitement of the World Series with our first team Tampa Bay, a 3 year run with Colorado and a whirlwind year in Baltimore that took us to the Playoffs."​ Incidentally, Jason is one of the only MLB players I've come across that has his own blog. I tell you, pitchers have way too much free time. It's a very un-pro athlete thing to do, but it does give fans a little insight into his life. ​ Elissa Hammel was also present at the Fidos For Freedom non-profit event in Washington DC where they were raising money to help train and provide service dogs for people with special needs. Every time I see one of those dogs, they seem like super dogs to me. Just recently Elissa and Jason had their second child recently and are living happily in Chicago.

Jordan Niebrugge's girlfriend Molly Hobbs is a very young lady still in college and currently attending a school called Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana. She's originally from good old Mequon, Wisconsin, and that's also where Jordan grew up after his parents moved him and his sister from Bridgeton, Missouri (according to Wikipedia, who never ever lies). Molly's recently been caddying a bit for Jordan, and back in November of 2014 she posted a picture of herself wearing "Niebrugge" on her back and standing on the green with him as he pondered what to do. Molly has three brothers, all of whom look sort of like frat boys, and so she kind of takes after them, as she herself is in a sorority. I'm pretty sure it's called Chi Omega.

Since Molly is in that zone where she's having the time of her life in college, she does a lot of activities with her college friends. They travel to different things altogether like a gang, and there's no shortage of photos of them laughing and goofing around together. Jordan Niebrugge's girlfriend Molly Hobbs is pretty much always the prettiest girl in these pictures, and that's impressive since there's generally a dozen or so girls in them. I've seen a few pictures of Jordan and Molly in high school, and it wasn't so long ago that they were just little kids. So you're going to have to give them some time to see if they stick it out together. I think there's a good chance of that happening though. Golf is far less volatile for relationships than football or basketball.

Since Molly is so young, she doesn't really have much going on in her life outside of partying with friends at school and studying. She'll occasionally take part in sorority stuff, which from what I can tell basically means just dressing up in some way and taking pictures with other sorority members. It looks like Molly is also very close with her family, and they take a lot of pictures together. Her brothers look similar to her, and I think they recently got puppies (or at least took pictures with some puppies). It may be they were just watching someone else's dogs or her parents were. Either way, she seems to get along well with her brothers.

JD Martinez's girlfriend Ariana Aubert's free time appears to mainly consist of traveling and enjoying television programs, from what we can tell. She's a big fan of The Walking Dead, she likes going to tropical settings, and she's no stranger to the beach. Back in 2012 she even went skydiving. Actually, let's be real - that's a pretty great list of stuff to be into.

Not having kids yet means Ariana can really get out there and enjoy JD's games without too much fuss. When JD isn't playing, they often go somewhere exciting like they did in 2013 when they made a trip to Vegas (I consider Las Vegas exciting). She always joins him for spring training too. At one time Ariana was actually a cheerleader for the Miami Dolphins, but right around the time she got serious with JD, she up and left. Before leaving the cheer game, JD Martinez's girlfriend used to compete in "cheerleader showdowns" for fun. That's when the cheerleaders on a team have people vote which one is prettier. They all get beach shots taken of themselves and fans vote who is the hottest one.

Back in 2012, Ariana attended the Red Bull Flugtag competition, which is a pretty cool thing where people make flying or gliding machines that have to run or wheel off of a man-made cliff into the water. It's pretty entertaining because mostly you're just watching silly contraptions take nosedives straight down. Back in 2012 Ariana was still going to school, but she'd just met JD. Her best friends were all cheerleaders, and she'd sometimes link to their modeling accounts. The world of professional cheerleaders is chock-full of models, as you can guess and JD Martinez's girlfriend Ariana Aubert is one of those girls. Not for lack of talent, but it doesn't appear she chased down the modeling career no matter how gorgeous she is. Since she barely ever updates her Social Media, the last we heard from her she was visiting the Mall of America in Minnesota, probably following JD on a stretch of away games.

Robert Streb's wife Maggie Streb met him at Kansas State while Robert was putting his way into NCAA Championships as a freshman. Maggie didn't really know how good he was when they first got together, but as she started to attend his games she began to realize it. Now the guy's a king in the PGA.

The couple now have a daughter named Catherine who was born in February of this year. This comes about two years after they were married in June of 2012. Robert earned his PGA Tour card in 2012 after finishing seventh on the money list, so being officially planted down with a lady apparently helped him. Robert Streb's wife says of the kid, "Ever since she was six weeks old, we've been on the road with him. She flies really well, and she's been sleeping really well." So Maggie herself goes to pretty much ever tournament. They've since planted some roots at a house close to Kansas City in Shawnee, Kansas. I watched a PGA Tour video of them at home and while some might think they're kind of boring people, more importantly is that they're very nice.

Maggie says that she walks around the lake they live on every morning, and it's a 5-mile walk. This was before she had her kid, though, so that's a whole new challenge . Now it's become a pretty standard existence for Robert Streb's wife Maggie Streb-- taking care of their daughter and just traveling around watching him make cash and birdies. Nothing much of interest happens online for either of them except Robert occasionally retweeting some nationalist tweets from Fox News, but you can't hold that against him since the PGA doesn't require anyone to have even a cursory awareness of current events and geopolitics. You just gotta' put the golf ball in the hole. Plus, there's not a whole lot of variety in the media outlets in Kansas. What's important is that Maggie and their daughter Catherine are raking in the dough thanks to Robert's sure swing and steady putts.

Danny Willett and wife Nicole Willett married in 2013 and are living it up as Danny continues to impress on the Tour. At the start of this month, the couple could be seen living it up in London, attending Les Miserables and drinking champagne. Not having a kid yet, as we've seen, means the couple can go out and spend some golf bucks all the time. They do a lot of hanging out with their young nieces and nephews though, so I'd expect them to have a child within two years. That's generally how these things go.

Nicole watched the Irish Open with a big golf umbrella, seated next to Alison Clarke, who happens to be the founder of Ireland's top model agency. Danny Willett's wife Nicole Willett also did us the favor of documenting what room service looks like for someone staying at the Irish Open by posting a picture of it untouched on her Twitter account, and as you might imagine it's pretty classy. Even the Diet Coke is stylized in a kind of old-fashioned way, but that might just be what they look like in Ireland. Another one of Nicole's favorite things to show off on the net is her dog, a little pug.

Danny and Nicole recently bought a new place, and they've been getting to know the grounds by taking their pug on walks. It's got big fields and forests surrounding it, and it looks like the kind of place you could practice your swing. Nicole spends a good deal of time traveling to Danny's tournaments as well. She was there for his recent action at the Open, and she mentioned how proud she was of him in a photo she took from the restaurant that overlooks the course. When Father's Day rolled around, Danny Willett's wife Nicole Willett even posted a picture of their wedding where her father was present to give her away. I've watched a few clips of Nicole golfing too, and she's not bad.

Abby Wambach's wife Sarah Huffman was visible right after the USA beat Japan in the Women's World Cup, and it was a pretty intense moment. It was one of those moments where someone holds the other person's head to their forehead and manically says stuff like "you did it, you did it, dreams come true." There were even a bunch of fans holding American flags behind them. It was awesome. I wish I could have one of these moments. It's almost a guarantee that anyone reading this won't get to experience an intense world-beating moment on a national stage ever. Maybe I'll just be one of those streaker guys and run across a sports field naked and pretend I won something. It'll be a rush.

At one time Sarah was a pro soccer player herself. She played for the Portland Thorns in the NWSL. She recently took Abby to a club on her birthday and said on Instagram: "Happy birthday to the woman who has taught me to go fearlessly after my wildest dreams. Forever glad you were born today." That's a cool thing to say on someone's birthday. Every once in awhile I see one of these messages on Instagram, and it's always nice. Abby Wambach's wife Sarah Huffman also takes a lot of pictures of their bulldog Tex. He's one of those dogs that sometimes gets their tongue caught between their teeth when their mouth is closed. He's pretty funny.

One thing I've noticed, though, about pictures of Sarah is that she likes to do a contemplative look when someone's taking a picture of her. It's not as if she's unhappy, but it's sort of like she knows how to seem at peace when the lens is on her. It makes for some cool photos. Abby also does that, and she's good at it. It's a hard thing to not smile in a photo but still look cool, you know? A lot of model-types try it but they just look miserable. I think one of the secrets is to squint skeptically the way Sarah does, but you've also got to still be in a good mood. The last bit of noteworthy info is Abby Wambach's wife Sarah Huffman somehow obtained a full life-size cardboard cutout of Abby as a Simpsons character. She had her dog Tex take a picture with the cutout. I may start a business making these things because I now want one of myself. I'll put it in the office and go visit my Simpsons self every morning.

Marquise Goodwin's wife Morgan Goodwin is an Atlanta native who grew up with a mom, a dad, and a stepdad in her life. The new era family provided unconditional support, which she was proud to explain in the short biography on their wedding site. She's still quite young and just finished her track and field career running for the University of Texas and graduating with a degree in public relations. She says she plans on being an actress with a backup plan of becoming a public relations professional that deals with athletes or celebrities.

I think the last part of her wedding bio is pretty funny. Morgan Goodwin says "Marquise calls me selfish, but when it comes to him, I'm not selfish at all (only sometimes...OK, maybe I am)." That's got to be one of the funniest things I've read in an "about section" of a wedding site. I want Marquise Goodwin's wife to become an actress now because she clearly has personality.

If you can see the personality coming off the page like that, it's a good thing. She's essentially saying "He said this about me, but it's totally not true. Well, only sometimes it's true. Actually, it is true."

She goes on to say:

"I love challenges and I am always on the go (Marquise hates this about me LOL)."

I'm not sure how challenges and always being on the go correlate, but then she continues:

"I can be an airhead sometimes and Marquise hates that about me too."

Okay, duly noted. She then continues:

"He also tells me that I don't listen (giggles). I can also be forgetful at times."

I'm telling you, you've got to be really charismatic if you're able to freely admit all these faults and still be lovable, as she actually states she is at the end of the bio. I believe it. There's actually a fantastic vine video (or whatever they're called) of her talking smack to Marquise and him saying under his breath "I can stand her." Check that out.

I just wanted to quickly mention that Marquise's sister, Deja, has cerebral palsy, which is a horrible and crippling disease that prohibits her from controlling any of the muscles in her body. Marquise made the statement to ESPN that "I realize that I've been blessed in my life and that I'm blessed with an opportunity to do things for myself. She lives through me, because she's never been able to do anything like that. We live vicariously through each other." That's powerful stuff.

Justin Hunter's girlfriend Aleisha Rayner​ is a young and lovely mother of two boys, Braylon and Justin Jr. The kids are one and three years old. The couple's been together since college, where they met at the University of Tennessee. Aleisha used to be on the track team and competed as a runner. Those days are over, but she seems to have taken to motherhood very well.

The thing she's probably not taking to so well is the fighting between Justin and some guy at a bar that happened a few days ago. It's not clear if Justin Hunter's girlfriend was at the bar at the time of the fight. Alleged details of a drunken brawl are always murky, but current reports allege that Hunter punched the guy in the face twice, was separated from him, and then sucker-punched him while the guy was spitting out blood on the sidewalk. Hey, these things happen. Now there's a bit of a debate about whether Hunter should be placed on immediate leave. Personally, I tend to show a lot of leniency with bar fight situations because alcohol and men can and do create fights. Still, gotta' keep those fists from flyin' unless you want to pay big fines and be labelled a problem.

Anyway, as far as Aleisha goes-- she's currently a real estate agent around Nashville. Her bio section doesn't really give much of a sense for Aleisha as a person, but it's professional enough: "I am very big on customer service. The customer service you will receive from me will meet all of your expectations and I will make that commitment to each and every client..."

Well, what if my expectations are to get punched in the face by Justin Hunter? I need a firm commitment that you can provide that service for me.

Nothing is has been officially confirmed about Becky Hammon's girlfriend Brenda Milano actually being her girlfriend, but it's been suspected for years that the two are together and even possibly married. Whether or not that's true is probably going to remain unknown for quite awhile now that Becky has been hired as an assistant coach for the San Antonio Spurs. If that's the way they've liked to keep their alleged relationship, there doesn't seem to be any reason why they'd make it publicly official now.

Brenda was the head coach of the women's team at St. Francis for nine years. She resigned in 2012 with a record of 58-184. Hey, it's a tough game, and not every coach can have a winning record. The Terriers actually never had a winning season under Milano. I'm not entirely sure what she's been up to in the past couple years, but she might not want to coach college basketball any more. Becky Hammon's girlfriend Brenda Milano has been photographed with Becky in what looked to be like gym clothes maybe after a workout? Again, we're not 100% confident the two are an item because they're pretty much all business. Becky is extremely busy with her new responsibilities as assistant coach, and she was recently drenched with water and sports drinks after the Spurs won the summer league championship. Granted, I didn't even know there was such a thing as a championship when it comes to the summer league, but if you're looking to get a permanent job placement on the spurs coaching staff, winning is better than losing.

From the few interviews I've seen of Becky Hammon's girlfriend Brenda Milano, she's always well-spoken if not a little quiet when it comes to the camera. Back in 2009 she had a lot to say about the prospects of the Terriers while being interview by some kid who was mumbling into the microphone. She talks about the challenges and expectations and all those coaching buzzwords that you always hear after post-game interviews. I wonder if Brenda will live vicariously through Becky now as a coach? My guess is after a 58-184 career, she might not be so into it.

You know, the zoo seems to be a place where pro athletes go with their families just like regular people like you and me. Jose Iglesias' wife Arlene Iglesias was there with him a week ago, bopping around with their son Jose Jr. They managed to take a pretty blah picture, but they're all together so I guess it's not blah to them (the least you could do is situate yourselves in front of the flamingo section, guys). I get the impression that Jose posts stuff to Instagram in order to let his family members in Cuba know what he's up to.

Jose Iglesias' wife Arlene Iglesias lives with him in Miami along with their son and Jose's father Candelario (cool name). She's had to give him support after his mom got stuck in Cuba, but I'm very curious if there's policy changes for Cubans going to and from Cuba now that the US has dis-embargoed them and resumed relations. Wouldn't it follow that travelling should be allowed now? That kind of thing may be up to the Cuban government so I'm not sure. Anyhow, as far as Arlene goes, she's just another MLB wife ghost. She's lovely, but she's nowhere to be found on the 'ole internet. She moved to Miami from Boston when he was on the Red Sox, but I guess that means Jose just spends a lot of time alone in Detroit? They might fly to Detroit now and then, but that's kind of brutal when you've got a 3 year-old kid.

Jose and Arlene do know the value of their young chap, though. Jose said recently that his son was the most important thing in his life. Jose Jr. gets all his haircuts in the Cuban barbers in the city, as we can see from a picture posted of him a couple weeks ago. I'm guessing Arlene just stays around the house and cooks up some tasty Cuban meals for the boy.

Don King's wife Henrietta King passed away in December of 2010 after having been married for fifty years. According to reports, Henrietta King passed away after a length battle with a number of conditions. In the immediate wake of her death, less scrupulous websites falsely reported that Don King had been shopping for engagement rings with his girlfriend. The site that reported it quickly retracted the claim and said it was false.

Don King is a polarizing figure, that's for sure. It's not for me to say if he's a good guy or not, but when the entire boxing community essentially turns its back on you after years and years of claims, one has to wonder what it's all about. Well, this was never a concern for Don King's wife Henrietta King. After her death, Don said he'd lost his best friend. She always declined to be interviewed and was by all accounts the exact opposite personality type as King-- that is, she was a decent person who didn't have an unending stream of B.S. pouring out of her face.

It's always sad to hear about someone being in a hospice, and that was eventually where Henrietta, whom Don called "Henry," ended up before her death. She would never accompany him to boxing matches, preferring a very quiet life away from any travel or glitz. It should be noted that Henrietta opted to stay with Don after he was convicted of murder and sentenced to some jail time. He spent three and half years in the clink before getting out and deciding on a career of ripping off professional boxers full-time.

Sean Payton's girlfriend Skylene Montgomery was recently spotted with him at the ACM Awards. It's always weird to me that they called it the "Academy" of Country Music. Like, okay we went from the original Academy in ancient Greece with Aristotle and Socrates and Plato as members to having an Academy for country music. It would be pretty awesome if the members of the ACM are really distinguished intellectuals and scholars.

So what we do know about Sean Payton's girlfriend is that she was the 2008 Miss West Virginia, and she immediately parlayed her Miss WV title into dating Kenny Chesney back in 2008. She's obviously hot, but she also runs a fitness day camp for kids (or at least she used to back in 2008 when that aspect of her life was reported on). There's a bit of a pattern between Sean and Kenny as their dating Skylene goes-- both were rebounding recently off of long-term relationships. Back in 2008, Kenny was coming off a long relationship with a girl named Allison Stewart, and now Sean Payton is coming off a divorce in which his ex-wife took half. Sometimes you need to just date a West Virginian beauty queen.

The one consistent aspect of Skylene Montgomery that we can tell you about is her love of fitness. In particular, she loves to run. This keeps her looking slim and nice. Much of her social media presence is devoted to looking good and how to work out and how to eat right. It's standard fare for beautiful women who have made careers out of their looks. In Skylene's case, I like that she helped kids to stay fit. She still might maintain that business, and she certainly seems to know a lot about it-- her Pinterest account is littered with information about proper techniques and tips. She may want to write her own tips about how to score rebounding famous dudes.

Brennan Poole's girlfriend Lindsey Giannini just found out that she will be advancing to the Miss America Pageant. Lindsey is a sweet lady who does a lot of stuff outside of dressing up pretty and being congenial. She even gets together with girl scouts to tell them not to text and drive. I'm referencing a picture of her standing with a sign that reads "stay alive: don't text and drive" while being surrounded by a group of Brownies (or whatever junior girl scouts are called). Lindsay was also wearing a beauty pageant crown, but I think she just did that to get the girls' attention.

Lindsey is the official Miss New Jersey, which means her days are filled with doing community-type stuff to show people how dynamic she is, but she does also get time to kick back. I saw a very goofy picture of her hanging out with her family while they were all dressed to look like characters on Game of Thrones. They did that solely to watch the show and get in the mood. Brennan Poole's girlfriend Lindsey Poole has traveled to Vegas with Brennan, and they've also hit up Disney World and frequently go to sports games. You gotta' remember LIndsey is only 21 years old, though she has a mature, womanly air about her.

Lindsey's also a big fan of pizza, and I think it's probably her favorite food. She talks about it quite a bit, and she's even gone to the trouble of finding new and bizarre modifications of pizza such as the "pizza cake," which is about 4 layers of pizza turned into a kind of thick amalgam. It looked disgusting but it was an interesting picture. I'm fairly certain Lindsey group up in South New Jersey, which is pretty different from North New Jersey. It's more rural and has lots a lot of woodland, whereas the northern part of New Jersey is the opposite and has a lot of sub shops. Lindsey's company is called PADD, and I'm not sure if it's a company or just a non-profit, but it's meant to end "distracted driving." That means anyone texting or talking on the phone better watch out for Miss New Jersey!

Colin Kaepernick's girlfriend Brittany Renner is an animated young model and fitness fanatic who maintains an extensive Instagram, cataloging her many moods and jokes. There is one pretty funny video she made where she reacts to some dude rapping on a Sirius station. The guy says something like "She dinner if she favor Brittany Renner," which I don't even know what that means but the video cuts to Brittany Renner making a funny "flattered face." The video goes on with some pretty goofy rapping and Brittany responding to it. Actually, the more videos on her Instagram that you watch, the more you will like her, I promise. She's pretty darn funny. She reminds me of a Disney character or something. She's got a lot of personality.

Anyway, very recently Colin Kaepernick's girlfriend Brittany Renner was talked about on Terez Owens for having been photographed nude in the showed by Trey Songz at some point. Apparently they believe she herself sent in the photos, but whether that's true or not, who cares? It seems if you're at all associated with anyone remotely famous, the internet will engulf you in some way sooner or later. She seems like one of the most charismatic player wives/girlfriends that we've seen in some time, so I'm going to be in her corner in any argument.

And there was a brief fake argument, it seems, back in 2014 when Brittany said she was "preggers" by Colin Kaepernick. Of course, she was just messing around. She's built herself up a huge following on Instagram, and I think it has more to do with her personality than her looks, though she is certainly very attractive. She also has a kind of clothing line called "Fit.Thick.Army" that she reps on IG, and she's frequently photographed wearing or sporting their caps. I'm not entirely sure if she's exclusive to Colin because there's never been photographs included on her account, but I have a hunch they are close to it. Her account is more for looking at girls in bikinis and watching her funny videos then anything else. I get the sense that Brittany spends way too much time with her phone in front of her taking videos of herself making faces.

Lawrence Okoye's wife Philippa Okoye is in the middle of a lawsuite against a Manhattan investment firm. ​According to the suit, there was a barrage of not-so-nice things were said to Philippa in regards to her being engaged to Lawrence. She was demoted and then fired by the company, and she's claiming it was because she complained about the way she was treated. I never really understood the whole wall street bro persona where dudes think they can drop all social norms and stop being civil. After all, they're just guys in suits placing wagers on companies and economies. They don't add anything to the world; it's not like they're manufacturing solar panels. Maybe if they were manufacturing tanks the testosterized bro persona might make a little more sense or something, but they mine as well call themselves professional gamblers. Anyway, every job has its place, I suppose.

Philippa likes to go by "Pippa," and she is originally from Britain. She is now living in California. Since Lawrence Okoye's wife Philippa Okoye was working on Wall Street while he was on the 'Niners, The suit alleges that there were a lot of people saying offensive stuff to her about how she shouldn't change her last name after she gets married to Lawrence because it'd be bad for business if people thought she was black, and one guy even said to her face that he thought it was "disgusting when white women go out with black guys." Maybe keep that thought to yourself.

I have no idea whether Pippa was good at her job, but the corporate culture definitely seemed to have gotten under her skin. According to her her boss wanted the place to be modeled after the movie 'The Wolf of Wall Street.' I don't really see that happening in 2015. Even if it were to happen, you're going to have all kinds of bad publicity come your way (not to mention lawsuits). If you're serious about having a successful business, maybe grow up and don't act like jerks.

Taylor Lewan's girlfriend Reagan Agee is all about friends and good times. She's got some of the most social pictures I've seen of any player wives or girlfriends on Instagram. That is, the ratio of "with friends" pictures to "solo" pictures is so high that one must assume she feeds off the energy of others. It looks like she has a large group of very close friends, and she hangs out with all of them. She's very much in her college-partying phase.

I don't actually think Taylor Lewan's girlfriend Reagan Agee is still in school now though. I know she's a professional hair stylist, and I saw a picture of her cutting what I assume is her (great?) grandfather's hair (he was 93 years old). It would be pretty amazing if she had a child when her great-grandfather was still alive simply because it's rare to ever have a great-great grandfather in any family. Anyway, she seems to know what she's doing with a pair of shears. She also had someone take some photos of a haircut she gave a woman, and I think she did that to create a kind of portfolio for her work. I respect the hair-cutting work because I used to try to save money and give myself haircuts, and it never works well.

Taylor Lewan's girlfriend looks fantastic in her stylish partywear and everyday ensembles. Reagan's Instagram feed really is an endless stream of hanging out with tons of people and smiling for the camera. It's almost like she wrote the book on how to put together a slew of pictures for good memories. Looking at her get-togethers with friends conjures up good time memories for me, and I was even't there. Reagan will also flash an occasional Ronald Reagan quote, and I'm sort of thinking she was named after the guy.

Dustin Byfuglien's wife Emily Byfuglien lives with him in Canada on a lovely lakehouse where the couple go boating with their daughter Kira and their dog Walter. Walter the dog is a cute and charismatic wire fox terrier. It appears their house is in the middle of nature central because Emily recently took some awesome photos of a bird eating out of her hand and a fox that comes up to their porch to ask for food. Emily said the birds are tame from the locals feeding them, and the same is true of the fox, which she says "makes the rounds to find food." Sounds like a cool deal to me. If I had a fox coming around my place I'd give it some scraps so it'd keep coming around. Then again, I don't think there's any foxes living in Queens.

I wonder if Dustin Byfuglien's wife Emily Byfuglien asks him about stuff like crosschecking dudes and getting suspend for four games? I always wonder about the post-game wife conversations when stuff like this happens. The wife's supposed to be supportive, but if she's watching it on the television and knows anything about the game, you gotta' figure sometimes she'd be like, "Yeah you totally cheap-shotted that guy and they're totally right to suspend you." Dustin is a beast of a defender too. The guy's 6'5", 265 pounds, and very fast. Have fun getting crosschecked by him, guys! Hope you've got good league insurance. Emily watches pretty much all the games on television when she's not going to them with Kira. That's pretty standard for a hockey wife. She also sometimes gets together with her parents to watch them.

Some of Emily's favorite entertainment is show The Biggest Loser, Melissa McCarthy movies, and Sons of Anarchy. She actually paid money to a charity for a chance to attend the Sons of Anarchy premiere. Canadians are weird, huh? No, but I do like seeing what Emily has to say on her Twitter. She has a good sense of humor and keeps people up to date on her life with Dustin. The couple were only married last July, 2014. Dustin Byfuglien's wife Emily Byfuglien also posted pictures of the event, and she looked dazzling.

Well the new tradition of high-production wedding ​videos continues with Yasmani Grandal's wife Heather Grandal. Heather became a mother four years before she became a wife, and so her kid is about six years old now. And the Grandal's wedding video now tops the list as the most high-production wedding video we've ever seen. It had drones with cameras flying over the wedding site. It had the stringiest of string arrangements and the editing work of a Schoonmaker student.

I actually think Yasmani Grandal's wife Heather Grandal is kind of awesome. She had a truly touching speech that she delivered as her vows in which she included the lines "whatever life throws our way, we'll be able to catch it and throw it right back." That's sweet (especially for the wife of a catcher). The video of them preparing themselves for the wedding is sort of like a commercial for a clothing line. During their wedding, Heather and Yasmani broke out in a kind of choreographed dance, and they actually looked cool doing it. They'd definitely practiced it ahead of time, and it definitely paid off. It was kind of like a music video. Yasmani himself seems like a really cool dude, but I am thinking the dance thing was Heather's idea.

Our best estimates land Yasmani meeting Heather sometime around 2013, but we're quick to admit that we could be dead wrong. Yasmani has a dog named Champ that he brought into the relationship, so between the dog and Heather's son, they've got a nice little family unit going. As far as an online presence, Yasmani Grandal's wife Heather Grandal likes to keep a fairly low profile like a lot of baseball wives. One interesting bit of information I learned was that Heather knew about Yasmani's trade to the Dodgers before he did. She woke him up when he was sleeping on the couch and told him "I think you got traded." That's got to suck. You've got the whole thing set up for you and your family wherever you are (in this case San Diego) and then you've got to relocate. I guess the move from San Diego to Los Angeles isn't that big of a culture shift, but it's still a move.

We were all really bummed out when we heard about Rowdy Roddy Piper's death, and we give our condolences to Roddy Piper's wife Kitty Toombs. They had four children: Anastacia, Ariel, Falon, and Colton. Colton himself is now an MMA fighter and was attempting to launch a career in professional wrestling at one point. I guess actually breaking into the WWE is very difficult since there's a hell of a lot of people who want the same thing.

One of my favorite tweets by Roddy Piper's wife Kitty Toombs was actually a retweet. Dodge tweeted a picture of a 1970 Dodge Challenger ripping up some rubber and making a huge cloud of smoke. Kitty has very cool taste in cars, as the '70 Challenger was one of the last great muscle cars of the era. Naturally, as Kitty mourns the loss of Roddy, there hasn't been a tremendous amount of activity since his passing. As a tribute to Roddy, I should probably mention his role in the 1988 cult sci-fi flick "They Live," in which he came up with the now famous expression: "I have come here to chew bubble-gum and kick ass, and I'm all out of bubble gum." It's a very Duke Nukem kind of scene- classic.

Before his death, Roddy Piper's wife Kitty Toombs was looking out for the tadpoles and frogs that were living in her pool. and watching their development from tadpoles to frogs. Kitty was going to avoid putting chemicals in the pool until they grew up and were able to move out. My question, though, is why would they bother to move out of the pool, and if they didn't, how would you get them out? I don't see any way to do it unless you caught them all with the skimmer and tossed them into the woods. I'm probably the only person who posed this inane question. A few months ago, Kitty was also busying herself with some volunteer work in Chico, California at a 10K with her daughter.

Randy Johnson's wife Lisa Johnson has been married to him for something like twenty years, and ​met during a charity event when he was a youngin' on the Montreal Expos. This was back in the raging 80's, and the charity event had something to do with golfing. Lisa herself is 6'0", though I suppose that's kind of a strong characteristic to be coupled with a guy that's 6'10".

Lisa married Randy in 1993 and had a bunch of kids with him (Sammy in '94, Tanner in '96, Willow in '98, and Alexandria in '99). Of the four kids, Randy Johnson's wife Lisa Johnson managed to birth a daughter who happens to be a major volleyball talent-- Willow. Apparently she's rated as one of the top 25 underclassmen in the country and can kill the ball.

As far as Lisa's life has gone, she's been the consummate mother of Johnson spawn and supporter of Johnson injuries, and there's been a few doozies. There are reports that Johnson also had a child with a woman named Healther Roszell, with those same reports suggesting he's never met the child. I'd be curious to know what Lisa thinks about Randy's ancient past with Roszell, since he was demanding she repay him over $70,000 in child support payments back in 2006 (important note, Randy was making $16,000,000 a year back in 06). The Smoking Gun reported it as him "getting stingy," but hey, seventy-grand is seventy-grand. Randy Johnson's wife Lisa Johnson was formerly a photo shop manager before she got hitched with the Big U. Back in the late 90's it was reported that Lisa and Randy were building a "house for tall people," where all the doorways were 8 feet tall and all the countertops were at his waist rather than his knees. You've got to remember that's not a big deal for Lisa since she's 6'0" too. Hobbits like myself would scurry between the cabinets and survive on their scraps.
