Tuukka Rask’s girlfriend Jasmiina Nikkila has become well known around Boston.  Dating the Bruins starting goaltender helps that notoriety.   We know that Nikkila’s in Boston via Finland, so the same path Rask took (minus the unfortunate stop in Toronto). There are reports that they have been together since high school.  But, this was from a site that claimed Lucic was dating the coach’s daughter, so take that as you will. Rask and Nikkila have been together for many years. Tuukka even brought her along when Tuukka brought Lord Stanley’s Cup to Finland. Reportedly fluent in English but with a thick Finnish accent, Nikkila has been active with the other Bruins player’s WAGs at charity events.

Lucky for Bruins fans, Tuukka Rask’s girlfriend Jasmiina Nikkila has a good sense of timing.  Jasmiina’s due date was right around the opening of the 2014 second round playoff series.   Many fathers would justifiably be in the delivery room no matter what.  Tuukka never had to make that choice.  Tuukka Rask’s daughter Vivien Rask came into the world during an off day.  She was born after the first two games were done (and the Bruins tied up the series).

In 2016, rumors floated that the couple was expecting another child.  There’s been no further details around this, and no news announcing the birth.  Since it was 3 years ago we last heard about it, we’re going to debunk this one.  We did actually received a tip that someone saw them having maternity photos taken in Boston’s public gardens. According to the tipster, Jasmiina, Tuukka and their daughter were all photographed during the session.  Yet to see those pictures!

Rask is one of the better goalies in the league. Recovered from a handful of injuries in the past, he’s looking to flex his skills again in the 2018 playoffs. The Maple Leafs drafted Tuukka in 2005.  But, for some reason they let him go for next to nothing (aka Andrew Raycroft). Thanks Canada!  The Bruins have him locked up through 2021 on a monster deal.

OK then.  Mariah hails from the beautiful city of San Diego, California. Mariah played volleyball at Rice University. Since she graduated and obtained a business degree, she became a certified adult. Mariah is ready to cheer for Giannis from the stands and support him off the court. I wonder if she knows how to prepare Greek cuisine yet? She worked as an operations intern for the Philadelphia 76ers, but she did not keep the job because her relationship with Giannis takes precedent. I’m fairly certain they both reside in Milwaukee now.

Giannis happily provides for his young daughter. While unclear, I don’t think his she came from Giannis Antetokounmpo’s girlfriend. Mariah openly rallied for Giannis to become an all-star. She also keeps in touch with her two younger sisters named Maya and Makayla. She reposted a picture of her sister’s prom photo in February. Naturally, Mariah most commonly posts about Giannis’ career on social media. In January, she joined other player wives and girlfriends in a lunch donation. It served as a photo opportunity for her social media as well.

In January, Giannis Antetokounmpo’s girlfriend also wished him a happy birthday. She told him she loved him and called him Adonis. Well, he’s a gigantic dude so I guess the analogy is sort of accurate, although Adonis was also known for his good looks. She continued the great cheer and support and congratulated him on his all-star selection. She added that he always keeps a smile on her face. This couple is certainly a fun-loving one. She pokes fun at him and calls him a Greek Freak, but she also says he is her best friend and the greatest person she knows. She obviously loves him very much. Mariah says one smile can hide 1000 emotions, but I bet most of her emotions are joyful!

Devin McCourty’s wife Michelle McCourty is formerly Michelle Powell.  Devin McCourty is as likable a guy as you’ll see in football, and definitely a fan favorite in New England.  Michelle has been in the picture for a few years now.  She definitely seems to have a handle on one of the best safeties in the league.

Devin posted a pictures of his wife on Valentine’s day eating cake and listening to Beyonce, and he said “she ain’t thinking bout me lol.” I think the McCourty twins have some of the best sense of humor in the game. They’ve constantly got smiles on their faces and jokes to throw around. Devin McCourty’s wife seems to be the serious one. With him around, it’s pretty tough not to be the serious one.   She smiles, but she’s much more aloof than the twins. Michelle used one of those Normatec heated blankets that players use to relieve their cramps. Devin found her in it when he came home from practice about two years ago. Just one of the many perks of dating a pro footballer, I guess.

Devin McCourty’s wife Michelle goes to all his games, which helps “the doc,” make necessary diagnoses.  And while that’s a quaint nickname husbands and wives may trade, it carries weight this time.  Michelle is in fact a Medical Doctor.  She was an emergency room physician working in New Jersey when we last knew.  The family does have a house in New Jersey, a short drive from Rutgers where Devin played.

The ring is huge, as expected, though it’s just a small chunk of Devin’s $47.5 million contract.  The pair was married in April of 2016 and had their first kiddo in March of the next year.  Their daughter Londyn came during a flurry of Patriot kids being born.  Less than a year later, the family proudly announced their second one was on the way.  They put up a very cute picture on Instagram highlighting the news.  This family is knocking down life’s dominoes in the very traditional order.  Congratulations!

Apparently DeAndre Hopkins’ girlfriend (ex-girlfriend) gave birth in April on 2019.  Unfortunately what we don’t know is whether or not the baby is DeAndre’s.  We also don’t know how long these two were an item, if they are still together, or hell, if they ever really were.  Either way congratulations are in order to at least Amina for the new kiddo.  Hell of a lot of work whether the dad is a star WR or not!

DeAndre Hopkins girlfriend Colleen Crowley may be a familiar name to you. You might remember us telling you about Johnny Manziel’s girlfriend Colleen Crowley back in March of 2015. For Johnny and football fans across the galaxy, that may seem like ages ago given what happened to the guy. Colleen wrote in an affidavit that Manziel beat her up and threatened to kill both of them. The details of that are very disturbing.

Colleen is a professional model and a petite one at that.  DeAndre Hopkins’ girlfriend was allegedly outraged by the photos of Manziel that came out after the investigation.  This all happened in February of 2016. I would have been angry too if I were Colleen. But this isn’t about Johnny Manziel, it’s about Colleen and her road to having a good time without a lunatic allegedly throwing her in cars and threatening her life. Little is known about how she met DeAndre, but if she was hanging around a lot of NFL players while she dated Johnny, then I’d imagine she would have good access to them.

DeAndre is a cool guy, and he often goes to NBA games when he’s not training or playing. Maybe DeAndre Hopkins’ girlfriend will be accompanying him to some sporting events soon? It’s too soon to tell whether this is a real relationship or not, but I imagine it could be. When an NFL player puts up a picture of himself with his arm around Colleen Crowley, it’s rarely by accident.

Jennifer Lemmons, a.k.a. Deandre Hopkins’ girlfriend wanted to let the world know it was fake. After the internet went crazy with the graphic, handheld very NSFW selfie that showed up on Hopkins’ Instagram account early on November 13, 2013, Lemmons let us know he was hacked. As the picture made it’s rounds online, and most of the internet buzzed that this was another example of questionable behavior from Hopkins (go Google the story about his smeared hotel room at the NFL combine), Hopkins was more than lucky to have a defender in his corner who quickly helped to diffuse the brewing situation.

Philip Rivers’ wife Tiffany Rivers started to date Phil in Junior High School. According to Phil, they stayed chaste until marriage. Does it sound impossible? Perhaps. But not for them! These two are like saints. When Philip met Tiffany in junior high, he told her she was the one he was going to marry. That information came from Philip’s mother, by the way. They originally both grew up in Decatur, Alabama. Philip moved to Athens, Georgia, but the couple stayed strong and continued to date. On May 18, 2001, they married at the ages of eighteen and nineteen.

The couple’s first child, a girl named Halle, arrived in 2002. She is now a teenager.  And normally, a teenager isn’t a big deal.  Inherently it’s not here, either.  But, where this gets weird is that before the 2004 draft most people can remember video packages talking about his infant daughter.  And that infant is now 16.  Man, time flies.

All in all, the Rivers family consists of eight children. Philip only missed the birth of one child, according to Daily Mail. Tiffany went into labor and Philip’s plan consisted of Facetime, by his own telling. On the internet, the Chargers fans online felt it was a great decision, of course. Before the marriage, Tiffany actually converted to Catholicism one day before. The couple and, by extension, the entire family, is extremely dedicated to their faith. In fact, Philip Rivers’ wife never misses Mass, and neither does Philip (even on game day). He won’t play without receiving the Eucharist.

Philip Rivers’ wife also helped him create a foundation called Rivers of Hope in 2010. The foundation aims to find families for orphans up to the age of twelve. Their philosophy is that if they can get one family together with one child forever, it’s worth it. That’s a beautiful thing. According to CLM Magazine, Rivers of Hope pledged over 1,000,000 dollars to various other causes that involve adoption. This couple is very committed to helping kids out.  Additionally, they organize a fun run every year to raise money for their foundation. Who doesn’t enjoy a nice walk or run to help kids?

That family life is key importance to Rivers.  When the Chargers moved from San Diego to Los Angeles, Philip and Tiffany couldn’t find an Orange County school system they agreed on.  In order to keep the family home and happy, Philip invested $200,000 in a decked out SUV.  Rivers installed a 40″ TV, wifi, and a cooler to be able to turn his commute into an opportunity to study game film.  He also hired a driver to bring he and longtime backup Kellen Clemens back and forth to San Diego area allowing them to sit in the back and put in their film work.  Rivers says he’s still home for 6 or 7pm every night, the same as when he was playing in San Diego.  Man, the things we do for our families!

This one came as a surprise, because man, we’ve come a long way.  Nothing like breaking news on your own snapchat that you’re dating one of the three best basketball players in the world.  BlackSportsOnline found out about the snaps and hunted her down.  Cassandra is friends with Doc Rivers’ daughter, Callie Rivers.   She played volleyball with Callie at Florida.  Clearly having a penchant for sunshine and attractive people, Cassandra has flipped coasts.  She currently works as a realtor in California for Berkshire Hathaway.  BSO seems to indicate they’ve known each other for a while, so maybe this one sticks?

This is the latest entry in the Kevin Durant girlfriend listing.  Their pairing was first brought to public attention in March, 2017, when Durant went down with his MCL injury.  TerezOwens cited a source saying they had been together all season.  The validity of the rumor was quickly shot down, when BlackSportsOnline put the pieces together that they did not meet until the All Star Game, and even then was strictly professional.  Amassing nearly 400k Instagram followers, and modeling a Kevin Durant uniform made it a fun pairing.  Alas, fake rumors and unconfirmed pairings are part of the life for professional athletes.

They made a movie about the lady! She’s like the darling of Lifetime channel. So let’s talk a bit more about Dai’s daily activities. She regularly posts modeling shots on her social media. They look legit too. She sometimes appears in New York City, which I recognize by sight pretty quickly. She also attended the movie premier of The Space Between Us. That happened in Los Angeles.

Sean Payton’s girlfriend Skylene Montgomery is about to become Sean Payton’s wife!

And the proposal happened in grand fashion!

Saints Coach Sean Payton proposed to his longtime girlfriend, Skylene Montgomery, at a private party at the Longway Tavern that was pitched to her as a toast to the 15th anniversary of the wedding of Saints owner Gayle Benson and her late husband, Tom Benson.

Gayle Benson was in on the ploy, giving Montgomery a fake invitation to the anniversary toast. The “toast” was, however, billed to friends and family as a surprise party in anticipation of Montgomery’s 35th birthday, which is Dec. 4.

Excitement was about for the Saints, as the team got in on the celebration.  During their next game, they popped up an image of Skylene in the crowd, with the title of “THE FUTURE MRS. SEAN PAYTON.”  MAZEL TOV FOLKS!

Sean Payton’s girlfriend was first spotted with him at the ACM Awards way back in 2015.  It’s always weird to me that they called it the “Academy” of Country Music. Ben Roethlisberger’s wife Ashley Roethlisberger married him in 2011.

Seems like it was yesterday.  Nine years flies by…

Since that time, Ashley gave birth to their three children, Ben, Baylee, and Bodie. The couple dated but did not live together until they married. This was Ashley’s choice because of religious beliefs. They married in Pittsburgh, and Ashley became pregnant four months afterward. Two years later, the NFL awarded Ben the Walter Payton Man of the Year award. Ashley certainly appears to brighten his life up. In a radio interview with WDVE, Ben said the marriage and kids put his life in perspective. He said he didn’t really know love until you have a child.

Ashley works as a physician’s assistant in the cardiac surgery department of the Presbyterian Hospital of Pittsburgh. Ben Roethlisberger’s wife helps diagnose illnesses and aids surgeries. In October of 2016, the Steelers organization put together a runway charity event which both Ben, Ashley, and all three of their kids participated in. Ben posted pictures of the family walking down the runway. They all looked very dapper and dressed in formal attire. Ashley in particular turned heads in a red gown.

Tracing the Pennsylvanian roots

Ashley herself comes from a town called New Castle in Pennsylvania. Ben Roethlisberger’s wife played basketball, softball, and volleyball. After colleges recruited her, she decided to attend St. Francis University and played softball. She graduated in 2009. Back in 2011, the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette asked Ben if he became engaged to Ashley at the time. He denied the engagement. Was he wary of the attention and the timing? Another article from triblive.com from 2011 covered their relationship at the time. They asked Ashley’s friend from childhood to describe her as a kid. Her friend, Sally Hiers, said Ashley was “such a happy little girl who loved sports and loved going to church”. According to the article, the couple met at training camp in 2005. At that time, Ashley still attended college.

The article also went on to describe both Ben and Ashley as highly competitive people. Those were his words to the Tribune Review in June of 2011. Even Ashley’s pastor at the First Alliance Church called her a “fine young lady” for the article. Ben Roethlisberger’s wife is described as a star athlete in her high school years by Sally Hiers. Her volleyball and basketball coach in high school said Ashley was a socialite and one of the most popular girls in school. In fact, the volleyball team won the AA championship in 2000 with the help of Ashley! Now, she is a champion mom and wife.

Jarrett Stidham’s wife Kennedy Brown Stidham is carrying on an illustrious tradition in New England.  And that of course, is being able to somehow outshine the Patriots quarterback.

An impossible feat accomplished by someone of only Gisele’s stature.

Fortunately for Jarrett Stidham’s wife, she’s grown up around professional sports.  Most couples head to a new city as rookies wide eyed and terrified.  But, fortunately for these kids, they’re comfortable around professional sports.  You see, Kennedy is the daughter of Houston Rockets CEO, Tad Brown.  Despite being the number one seed in the Western Conference in 2018, Brown admits he found himself answering more questions about his daughters boyfriend than him. In the video below, Brown says:

“The worm has turned for me in that now I’m answering questions about my future son-in-law more than I’m answering questions about our team, especially here in Alabama.  I think it’s great. I’m here often. We have a place down in Auburn, we go to as many of the games as possible. My daughter is also playing (soccer) at Baylor, so I’m there a lot as well. It’s great. Jarrett Stidham’s wife Kennedy Brown Stidham can hold her own on the pitch, too

This isn’t one of those all sizzle no substance situations here.  As Kennedy’s father pointed out, she was an NCAA athlete herself.  As a four year soccer player graduating in the spring of 2019, she held her own on the field and in the classroom.  Kennedy racked up honors every year of her career, including the following from her team bio

The couple met in 2016 while attending Baylor together.  Jarrett obviously transferred to Auburn after a couple years, but the couple stayed together.  Jarrett popped the question during the summer of 2018, and Kennedy became Jarrett Stidham’s wife just over a year later in July of 2019.  They head to New England with a solid base together.  And potentially lofty career goals coming in the next couple years.  Does Stidham take the job away from the Greatest player in NFL history?  Time will tell.  Get those PR skills ready, Kennedy!

Stephen Gostkowski’s wife Hallie Gostkowski has been in the picture for quite some time.  It’s incredible how quick this dude’s career added up.  It seems like just yesterday, the Patriots were winning Super Bowls with Vinatieri.  And, rather than reinvent the wheel and play kicker roulette, the Pats just go get the next most clutch guy in the league.  Incredible.  But, since you’re here to talk about Hallie Gostkowski we’ll get back to it.

So here we are, 13 years into Ghost’s career.  And Hallie Gostkowski was with him since his early years in college.  The two were classmates at Memphis, and obiously stayed together longer.  They first met in an anatomy and physiology class.  And, while I’ve been debating this for a few minutes, I’m going to pass on making a hacky anatomy joke.  You’re welcome, folks.

The pair dated through school, and Stephen proposed to her following the 2007 season.  Stephen and Hallie officially married on April 19, 2008, and now have two kids together.  They have three kids together.  Their sons, named Slayden Kyle and Gannon William, and a daughter named Lyla.

Stephen Gostkowski’s wife has “100 percent confidence”

Looks like that anatomy and physiology class paid off.  Hallie Gostkowski  continued that path, now working as a nurse in the greater Boston area. In the offseason the family enjoys traveling, specifically referencing Atlantis as a favorite destination.  Before kids, they wanted to travel oveseas to places like Italy, Australia, and South Africa.  But as a father of three kids under 5 myself, I know how those plans go once you consider the extra luggage on the trip.

In an interview with WHDH-TV in Boston, Hallie Gostkowski says the following about her husband:

I have 100 percent confidence in Stephen’s ability. It’s a talent that he’s blessed with. He’s not going to make every kick. I’m a nurse, I have bad days, he has bad days.

Those bad days for Gostkowski are few and far between.

Between the two of them, they’ve delivered a family mantra of giving back.  She, obviously professionally so, you know,… saving lives and all.  And of course Gostkowski helping to deliver two (or more) Lombardi trophies to Pats fans.  But, while we of course recognize the folly of that statement, giving back goes beyond that.  The kicker talked to ESPN about visiting children’s hospitals to meet and greet with patients and fans.

So while plenty of people will find plenty of reasons to hate the Patriots, we can certainly think of two reasons not to.  Stephen Gostkowski and Stephen Gostkowski’s wife are people worth rooting for.

Cam Newton’s girlfriend Kia Proctor is the mother of his kids.

And how many kids are there, exactly PlayerWives.com?

Well folks, there are three, and one more on the way!  First, the woman commonly referred to as Cam Newton’s wife gave birth to a son, the couple’s first child.  Cam Newton’s son is named Chosen, which must have been complicated to explain to the family. It turns out that Cam’s “rock the cradle” touchdown dance was a direct reference to their new child. Newton wouldn’t comment on this touchdown dance at the time. He now explains that he didn’t want to take any attention away from his team.

Cam even claims that his son Chosen was walking – at a mere one month! Obviously this was a joke. That said, it certainly wouldn’t surprise us if Chosen Newton inherits some athletic genes. Cam’s athletic talents aren’t up for debate, but don’t forget Shakia Proctor’s place in this equation.

Their second child, a daughter named Sovereign-Dior Cambella Newton.  She was born February 3, 2017.  Their third child, another son, was born on July 6, 2018.

In May of 2019, Cameron Newton’s girlfriend was revealed to be pregnant with their fourth child!  Congratulations to the Newtons!

Cam Newton’s girlfriend and her former life.

Cam Newton’s girlfriend Kia Proctor is a former stripper (which she did under the name Hazel). Stripping isn’t easy – you try sliding up and down that pole for hours on end and see how sore you are at the end of the day. PLUS, there’s a lot of losers in there.  In her former life as an adult dancer, she worked for the famous Washington DC Stadium Club. The assumption is that Kia has given up her former career. She has done plenty of modeling work recently. This newfound modeling career, along with a relationship with the prohibitive NFL MVP favorite, likely closes the door on a return to the stage & pole.

Cam and girlfriend Kia Proctor made their first public appearance at the 2013 Kentucky Derby. The then unknown Kia sent the internet to work to learn more. This research eventually showed that Cam and Kia were expecting a child. While initially just a rumor, the couple eventually confirmed the story. Especially after Cam did the “cradle a baby” touchdown dance in week 17. Cam Newton’s girlfriend Kia Proctor quickly became a national story.

Are these two still together?

At one point there were rumors swirling that Cam and Shakia Proctor might no longer be together. This rumor came from the subject and tone of a DM Tweet that Cam sent to LA Radio personality, Promise B Mae. That story remained relatively quiet and may have been genuinely friendly in nature. Now that the couple has a child, and with Cam being very open about calling Kia his girlfriend, these rumors have been put to bed.  I’d say child number 3 can assuage those concerns.

Chris Harris’ wife Leah Harris is the model housewife. During an August, 2014 interview, she was spotting a baby bump, a few months away from welcoming Chris Harris’ first daughter Aria Harris to the world.  The interview took place with Leah and a couple friends who also carry the label of a player’s wife. The three wives of Chris Harris Jr., Steve Johnson, and Chris Clark sat around the kitchen and talked about their extremely busy days taking care of kids and running errands. They said the players devote all and any time to the game of football– upwards of 12 hours. It sounds like a pretty raw deal for the wives, but they’ve got each other to hang out with, and Leah is definitely tight with a few of them. The three of the Broncos wives were all hanging out and making desserts around the kitchen, laughing and telling jokes.

College to the pros

Chris Harris’ wife Leah Harris was  his college sweetheart. The two of them both went to Kansas University, and Leah describes herself as “aggressive” when it comes to watching Chris play. Unlike her friends, she gets amped up and competitive, telling him to go get’em and whatnot. I suppose that’s sort of ideal for what you’d want from your wife if you were a pro footballer. A lot of them would certainly not be into football if their husbands weren’t in the sport, and Leah’s friends are certainly not as aggressive as she is.

“He watches the First Take, that’s the first thing he does – well, he gives me a hug and a kiss, and he sits down and I leave him alone.” That’s Leah’s description of their time together. Hey, that’s what they signed up for, I guess. Still, sounds pretty rugged. I guess Leah looks forward to the offseason?

Ryan Tannehill’s wife Lauren Tannehill gave birth to the couple’s first child in 2016. I’m about to tell you what they named their son, but you aren’t going to believe me. Are you ready for this? Ryan Tannehill’s son is named Steel Ryan Tannehill. First of all, no, I am not lying – that’s really the boy’s name. Steel was born in late July of 2016.  And it’s the best athlete kid name ever.  That kid is either a second generation QB like pops, a huge lax star, or a model.  That’s it.  And those are pretty ok options.

Do you think that they will name their next child Le Tigre Tannehill?

The Tannehill family announced their pending pregnancy via an Instagram post. That’s really a sign of the times huh? I wonder how athletes previously announced such things? Do you think they called a press conference or perhaps gave an exclusive interview?

Ryan Tannehill’s wife Lauren Tannehill blew up the internet for a few minutes on Thanksgiving night when ESPN introduced her to the world. During a 27-25 loss to Texas, the ESPN broadcast showed Lauren in the crowd, while also putting up a name underneath so everyone could go searching for more pictures.

Lauren and Ryan were engaged in May of 2011 after meeting in 2009. Thanks to both their engagement notice and their Bed, Bath and Beyond gift registry, we now know they were married January 13, 2012 in a destination wedding in Mexico. Fortunately for the couple, the destination wedding had little impact on their registry as it really looks like they cleaned up with very few items left unfulfilled.

Much like Ryan, Lauren went to Texas A&M, graduating in 2010, majoring in Communications and minoring in Psychology. While those two courses of study may not always lead to the easiest careers, Lauren appears to have done well. After earning her degree, she worked as a cardiology assistant at a local cardiovascular clinic. Lauren is also an aspiring model who has done a few photograph campaigns as well as having a model card on Page. 713, a modeling and talent agency.

Greg Zuerlein’s wife Megan Zuerlein is the mother of their three young children. They are two girls and a boy. “Greg The Leg” lives in California with his family and a white Labrador named Charlie. Their baby boy is too young to walk, but their two daughters often watch their father practice kicking in his netted workout facility at their home. According to The Los Angeles Times, Greg made 21 consecutive field-goal attempts while he attended Missouri Western. That number also included nine from beyond 50 yards. So the transition into the NFL for such a kicker is no big stretch.

Greg Zuerlein’s wife is a registered nurse. In fact, she often nurses the household like an infirmary. Two days before Christmas in 2015, she shared a photo of the large amount of medications and health products she bought at the pharmacy. A day before that, she proclaimed they ran their own infirmary at their home since everyone including Greg got sick. Megan also shows interest in the medical field on her social media page. For example, on May 24 of 2015, she shared that she watched a face transplant. She then said the operation was truly amazing and that she loved being a nurse.

On June 14, 2015, Greg Zuerlein’s wife gave birth to their daughter Morgan. Morgan’s arrival was the second of their marriage, and it was a little over two years since Greg’s first game in the NFL. According to the Lincoln Journal Star, Greg didn’t know if he would be drafted into the NFL. By his own account, he said he thought there was a chance based on what a few coaches told him. The Rams coaches John Fassel and Jeff Fisher both told him they felt interested. Coaches took notice of Zuerlein’s ability since high school. He quit football as a freshman because he didn’t enjoy being a receiver. Then, while he played soccer, the football coaches approached him and offered him a spot as a kicker.

The Charitable Type of Family

Megan also occasionally mentions causes and charities she supports such as the Kick Cancer event she attended in November of 2014. Additionally, Greg Zuerlein’s wife never forgets to wish him a happy birthday on social media every year. Every December 27, she posts a nice tribute with a picture of him in uniform and wishes him a good one. Of course, Megan loves to post updates on social media about the team and about her husband’s personal accomplishments as well.

Derek Wolfe’s wife Abigail Wolfe is the mother of their daughters Tatum and Roxie. The family lives in Denver, Colorado.  But, they will surely be relocating to Baltimore soon enough.. According to Bossip, they married on February 25 of 2017 at the Four Seasons in Vale, Colorado. In addition to Tatum, the family also includes two dogs named Jack and Buster. They are an English Bulldog and a Black Labrador. It is unclear whether Tatum is also the daughter of Derek. When he proposed to Abigail on her birthday on May 20 of 2016, Tatum posed with them for their photo. Abigail also documented the marriage vows on social media, where Derek included Tatum in the vows. She said this meant a lot to her.

Abigail posted a tribute to her daughter Tatum in May of 2016 as well. Tatum was born on May 6 of 2007. Derek Wolfe’s wife calls Tatum an old soul trapped inside a little body. Abigail also added she knows Tatum is destined to do great things. When photos of the engagement first appeared, 247 Sports covered the event. They described Abigail as a fitness model. Abigail occasionally shares photo of herself at the gym too. For example, she spent time in the Red Rock Canyon in Nevada, and the picture she showed featured her doing yoga on the rocks.

Derek appeared in a November 12 Fox News post after he appeared with his brother-in-law on the field before the game. His brother-in-law served two tours in the navy, and Derek appeared with him to honor his service. According to the news post, Derek Wolfe’s wife came up with the idea with him. So Abigail received some credit, and they thought it would create a nice memory for the family. Abigail also comes up with cool ideas for her friends. For example, she traveled to Thailand with her best friend Chrissy in 2015. She documented the trip on social media. Abigail also occasionally shares quotes she enjoys on social media. One notable one came in August of 2015. It said there’s something wrong with your character when opportunity controls your loyalty. She mentioned it sometimes takes a long time to realize some friends are merely opportunists.

A long and winding road to the NFL

In a brutal article and portrait of Derek’s personal history, NFL Player Engagement detailed Derek’s upbringing. According to the article, Derek never knew the identity of his biological father. He also spent a lot of time with his stepfather searching for his mother at night, who struggled with addiction. The article also mentioned the stepfather beat him constantly. Clayton Kershaw’s wife Ellen Kershaw (formerly Ellen Melson) is a graduate of Texas A&M with a degree in communications.

But, Communications doesn’t seem to be her top priority in the world.

At one point in her life, she was taking annual summer trips to Zambia.  The trips are as part of her association with “Camp Life.”  Camp Life is a religious aid mission, which Ellen happily volunteers. In an interview with MLB, Ellen explains why she’s been to Zambia 5 times, with no plans on slowing down any time soon:

“The first time I hugged a Zambian orphan, it changed my life… This is something I can do while Clayton is pursuing his passion of baseball. On this trip, our passions will collide. This is his way of showing that he supports me. Every season, I come back and show him pictures of all these girls and he’s curious why I keep going back. My hope is that we can combine our two passions and utilize these opportunities to make a difference.”

Clayton and Ellen Kershaw have two kids, two year old daughter Cali, and a son Charley born November 2016.  Having kids changed the Kershaws, as it does with so many.  The LA Times posted a long article about the Kershaw family.  In it, Ellen describes how the kids have evened out the emotional highs and lows that baseball can bring.

During last season’s National League Division Series against the Washington Nationals, Ellen was at home because she was nine months pregnant. She watched on television as her husband dramatically emerged from the bullpen on one day of rest in Game 5, saving the Dodgers’ season.

“I was like, ‘You can’t do that to me anymore!'” Ellen said she told Clayton afterward. “‘It is just too nerve-racking.'”

Kids, charity, and baseball?

Clayton Kershaw’s wife sure seems to enjoy watching him pitch.  She talked about the anxiety of following his starts in that article.  One can imagine that the game is even more intense when Clayton throws a no-no.  Which honestly, there’s like a 60% chance of it happening every time that dude toes the rubber.  Ellen was prominently featured on the Dodgers broadcast and SportsCenter after Clayton threw a no hitter and near perfect game in 2014.  To describe her as excited would be a major understatement.

Clayton and Ellen married in December, 2010 in Houston, TX. Clayton rocked a pair of Dodger blue sneakers at the reception.  They have been together since high school, and have no children together. Clayton is quick to call Ellen his high school sweetheart.  The Kershaw’s attended high school with Detroit Lions QB Matthew Stafford.  The high school clearly has it’s athletic department in order. But that’s not all for Highland Park High School.  In addition to Stafford and Kershaw, the school also churned out MLBers Jordan Walden, Chris Young and Shawn Tolleson.

Golden is an influencer on Instagram and YouTube.  Kyrie first took things public in July of 2019, and made it Instagram official.

Is Kyrie Irving’s girlfriend Chantel Jeffries back?

Have you heard the name Chantel Jeffries before?  Well, it probably rings a bell for us, because we’ve seen her name over and over linked to professional athletes.  While the voracity of reports hasn’t been confirmed, we’ve seen rumors of her linked to guys like Kevin Durant, Johnny Manziel, and DeSean Jackson.  Worst of all?  Bieber.

But, much like some of those names, it’s not entirely clear how long these two dated for, if they ever even did.  Chantel Jeffries is a famous enough model to see her name floated in various rumors.  Beyond a few gossip site posts, it’s unclear if there ever was anything here a few years back.

Fast forward to the 2018 offseason, and Kyrie had a date night with Chantel.  The two were affectionate as they went to see the Incredibles 2.  This was their second public showing together after previously going to a club opening in early June.  So are these two now official?  Well folks, there’s only one way to find out. Kyrie Irving’s girlfriend Gabrielle Lexa formerly danced for the Atlanta Hawks but now lives in Los Angeles. I watched a dancer interview from the Hawks website with her. They asked her some light questions designed to inspire her creativity. She said she would travel back to the 1950’s if she had a time machine.  Gotta be inspired by Back to the Future, right?

Kyrie Irving’s girlfriend now resides in Los Angeles, as I mentioned above. She also mentioned she held back her tears for Steph’s wedding. However, she wasn’t talking about Stephen Curry because he married in 2011. She said she was a bridesmaid so I think she just meant she attended her friend Stephanie’s wedding and had to hold back tears.

Anyway, Kyrie Irving’s girlfriend might to move to Boston now.  According to reports, this couple may be coming up on a year together.  If she wants to spend any significant time with him at all, it seems like the best option. Otherwise, they will almost never see each other since she lives in Los Angeles. Gabrielle strikes me as something of an emotional person. She frequently shares melodramatic posts on social media. For example, she mentioned in her last post in May that she pours all her love into relationships with friends and family and often neglects herself. Gabrielle then stated things were about to get very real on her social media and suggested people to unfollow her if they weren’t really interested in her as a person. That was her last post! No more drama shares?

Kyrie Irving’s girlfriend Kehlani Parrish is a legitimate R&B talent. When things were good, they were great.  He said that nothing else matters when he’s with her (what about your NBA career?). Irving then said that’s when he knew he had someone special, and her response was that he’d shown her so much in so little time and restored her faith in a lot of things. Oh boy, we were dealing with some romance writers.

Here’s where things get less romantic. Kyrie Irving’s girlfriend Kehlani Parrish was accused of cheating on the Cavs star after some Instagram sleuthing found her back with an ex boyfriend.  The two split, and what was once a public romance became a semi-public split.  Kehlani was so devestated by the rumors that she went to Instagram to announce that she “wanted to leave this earth.” Kehlani reportedly attempted suicide by slashing her wrists after a rough day on the Internet accusing her of infidelity. Heavy stuff, and a reminder of how dangerous things can be.

Kyrie Irving’s girlfriends: The best of the rest

Kyrie Irving has a laundry list of other girls linked to him.  A model named Natalia Garibotto was one of the first women we saw attached to Kyrie, and in our book, remains the best.  Stunning, interesting, and I doubt she’s ever even met Bieber.  The couple was together around 2014, though again, the timeline gets fuzzy with the more recent and dramatic relationships.

Kyrie was once linked to Doc Rivers daughter, in late 2014, though that was never confirmed.  Neither Kyrie or Callie Rivers ever commented or posted about it on social media.  He’s also been linked to others, and has been through a paternity suit with a woman named Andrea Wilson.

Lamar Jackson’s girlfriend Jaime Taylor has flown relatively under the radar for years now

So,…. is that your plan for how to explain that you dummies at PlayerWives.com dropped the ball?

Yes.  Yes it is, actually.

But, in reality, there really is no excuse.  Lamar Jackson’s girlfriend Jaime Taylor has reportedly been around since his time at Louisville.  We were certainly looking for her during the Heisman ceremony.  Lamar Jackson’s mom, Felicia Jones, took center stage that night.   Many speculated that was his girlfriend (hell a couple sites out there still are).  But, there was no sign of Jaime anywhere that night.  Probably a smart idea for them to keep the spotlight low when the media pressure was at an all time high that night.

At the time of the Heisman ceremony, Lamar Jackson’s girlfriend had only been in the picture a few months.  They began dating in 2017.  But, a lot has transpired in their time together.  Heisman, to draft, to taking over as the Ravens starting QB, and now to the MVP frontrunner in the 2019 season.  That’s one hell of a whirlwind two years.

The power of positivity!

Lamar has see plenty of criticism in his time in the national zeitgeist.  People called him a running back pretending to be QB.  Despite his incredible collegiate career, he almost slipped out of the first round.  But somehow despite it all, he manages to stay positive, and keep other people around him positive too.  In an extensive profile about Lamar on the Ravens official website, Clifton Brown talks to Jaime about how he handles it all.

James White’s wife Diana Civi is a lovely young college graduate who attended Wisconsin-Madison along with James. Now, she lives with him around Boston. I don’t know exactly where they posted up but it’s probably a nice town between Boston and Foxboro (or Rhode Island. Half the team lives there). It always struck me as inconvenient that the Patriots play so far away from Boston proper. James and Diana own a small dog named Ace Boogie whom Diana posts on her social media.

A Stylish 2018 Wedding:

Surrounded by family, friends and teammates, James White and Diana Civi tied the knot.

It works for these two.  James White really loves his wife, and in a breath of refreshing air, he’s not even remotely shy to announce it on social media.

Diana has accompanied James on most of his charitable endeavors, including visiting local Children’s Hospitals.  A cool couple all around.

On one recent Halloween, James and Diana dressed up as Power Rangers. James White’s wife traveled to Martha’s Vineyard a few months before that. Miami was also a destination along with Disney World. Young Diana enjoys fast food like Krispy Kreme and In ‘N Out Burger. Her favorite food seems to be fries and fried food in general. When her metabolism slows down, I wonder if she’ll start eating green stuff and working out religiously in order to maintain her figure.

Diana also enjoys the sites and sounds of New England since she lives there. She traveled to the Salem Witch Museum with a friend. This is the kind of thing you do when you’ve committed to a state. It’s far enough from Boston to keep casual tourists out, for the most part. She also drove the famous Boston Duck Boats! She probably received special permission to do that. The Duck Boat is a tourist shuttle on the Charles River in between Boston and Cambridge. I can’t confirm this at all, but I think there’s a possibility James White’s girlfriend is Cuban since she travels to Miami more than once per year. Her family maybe emigrated there. Then again, Miami is a nice beachy place that people simply enjoy traveling to. You can imagine how proud she was in 2015 when the Patriots won the Super Bowl. She posted as much.

Kyle Van Noy’s wife gave birth during the Patriots 2019 home opener, causing him to (very very very) justifiably miss the game.  And just two weeks later, James White’s wife gave birth to their first child, and James missed a week 3 tilt against the Jets.  I think this excuse is even considered ok by Belichick standards.  Congrats to James & Diana!

AJ Styles’ wife Wendy Jones is his high school sweetheart and the mother of their four children.

Georgia born and bred.  They don’t want none

AJ and Wendy both grew up in Gainesville, Georgia and remain there to this day. They began to date on Valentine’s Day way back in 1996. Since that time, Wendy gave birth to three sons and a daughter. Their oldest son, Ajay, plays football and attended the very same high school they did. In fact, AJ himself posts videos of Ajay on the football field. He seems like a good athlete because he inherited some natural abilities from his father.

AJ is a kid at heart, and he plays video games with his kids. Not only that, but they own real arcade machines! Their youngest child is their daughter Anney. AJ has all their kids dates of birth tattooed on his rib cage.  In an episode of WWE’s Superstar Ink, Corey Graves brought AJ to a tattoo parlor to get Anney’s DOB inked on.  AJ Styles’ wife gave birth to Anney some time in mid 2014, and it was their first daughter.  This means she is close to three years old since her third birthday likely did not arrive yet. Superstar Ink on the WWE Network showed AJ getting a tattoo for Anney. All his kids birthday are inked on, and he also added a splash of pink for his only daughter.
