Long before $430M, and way back in December, 2017, Mike Trout’s girlfriend finally became Mike Trout’s wife.

That’s right.  The best player in the world marries up.

You might think that the best baseball player in the world would evaluate options out there.  But, Mike Trout has never been shy to show off his now official better half.  Jessica has been in the picture since high school.  Trout told the Philadelphia Daily News that he knows why he stays with Cox:

“I met her in high school, and we trust each other, and she is one of my best friends. She is somebody I can talk to and is always here for me.”

How did the best player in baseball make a grand gesture to his best friend?  Mike Trout’s wife Jessica Cox walked out of a building in July 2, 2016. Mike told her to look up at the sky, and she read a message that a plane wrote in smoke. It was a marriage proposal. Since she fell in love with Mike years ago and stayed that way, she immediately said yes. A little later, she posted on her social media about it. Jessica simply said feels so excited to finally be able to call the amazing Mikey Trout her husband. Hiring a plane to write a proposal message in the sky is a smooth move, for sure.

What does Mike Trout’s wife do aside from cheer on the Angels?

Jessica is a middle school teacher in New Jersey. Since they first started dating in high school there, she returned after earning a degree in Pennsylvania and now teaches sixth graders. It’s also a great gig for her since the summer is wide open! Imagine Mike Trout’s girlfriend gets a break from her job in the summer so she can go watch baseball! It’s absolutely ideal. I respect school teachers greatly in this country, and Jessica really seems to fit right into the occupation. Who wouldn’t love to have her as their sixth grade teacher?

While no kids yet, in the meantime they own a small American Eskimo Dog named Juno. Yes, it’s a very Alaskan-themed pet ownership program they have. Mike Trout’s girlfriend loves this dog a lot and frequently shares pictures of her. Jessica certainly considers her, Mike, and Juno a little family. I believe within one year of their marriage, she will give birth. Right now, she loves to travel with Mike and attend games in the summer. The couple enjoys concerts on occasion. During winter, they visited Lake Placid in New York and sled down some slopes. Jessica also loves horses and visits Mike’s parents’ ranch to see them.

Cody Bellinger’s girlfriend is a popular topic, given he’s playing out of his mind to start the 2019 season.  We know of one name from 2017 and prior (meet Melyssa Perez below).  But other than that, it’s been a little quiet around these parts.  So let’s get into what we know.

Time is a flat circle folks.  Cody hopped into the way-back machine for this one, and as of this writing in 2019, he’s going back back to high school high school.  Cody and Sabrina starred on the red carpet at various events in recent months breaking the question about his dating status.  Cody and Sabrina have remained close since high school, and for now this on again-off again relationship appears fully on.

It was quiet on the girlfriend front for 2018.  It was more than a year since Melyssa Perez graced Cody’s Instagram, and hers is also remarkably devoid of any Cody snaps.  Other sites seem to suggest they are no longer dating.  Geographically that makes sense, as Melyssa is clearly spending the majority of her time nowhere near Chavez Ravine.  More specifically, she’s spending most of her time around Houston.  Have they split?  Signs seem to suggest as much, but we’ll keep an eye on it.

There were a couple names which slid past our radar without so much as a blip.  But for now, we’ll focus on the one that Cody was at the time happy to demonstrate.

Cody Bellinger’s girlfriend Melyssa Perez is a law student at the University of Texas. She said in 2017 that if you think Cody is good at baseball, you should see how good he is at getting on her last nerve! Stop annoying Melyssa, Cody! Nah, Melyssa loves Cody lots. She was WAY excited about his breakout season too. Originally she hails from Laguna Niguel, California. Melyssa also joked that she does plan on using evidence and not just her fist in court. I hope there’s still jobs left for her because a lot of law jobs are now the domain of artificial intelligence.

Melyssa posted a picture of her eating a corn dog and said there’s no better depiction of her. I should also add she possesses a smoking hot bod, but that’s obvious as soon as you see her. Cody Bellinger’s girlfriend likes to spend time on the ocean and apparently loves to fish too! She showed off a few huge catches on social media. Melyssa caught some mammoth snappers in Galveston in July. Melyssa is incredibly photogenic and appears so happy in all of her photos. What a California dream! I’m also feeling a bit jelly of Mr. Bellinger.

Xander Schauffele’s girlfriend Maya Lowe is a graduate of the University of California San Diego.

San Diego,….Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale’s vagina.

Nothing like dated Anchorman references, right?

Anyways, back to Xander Schauffele’s girlfriend.  San Diego holds a place of importance for these two.  The couple met and began dating in 2014.  Xander was playing golf at San Diego State University.  And Maya was just across town at UC SD.  The rest is kismet.

Maya posted a variety of photos from graduation day.  Shortly before her graduation, Maya attended a Robin Trower concert at the House of Blues. She explained that during spring break in college, she spent time with her grandfather rather than the usual trip to Mexico to party. Since that time, her grandfather passed away. Because she spent that time with him, she feels very grateful and happy. It’s a sweet sentiment to share.  The notion that there’s a singular college experience is completely disproven with people like Maya.  They find the lessons life has in and out of the lecture halls and libraries.  Impressive.

Since graduating, Maya has worked for a San Diego non-profit helping women.   And while she certainly gets to attend plenty of the glitzy ceremonies and fancy events that go along with being a golf WAG, it’s clear she’s not just sitting back.  Maya is out there making a difference in the world.  Good on her.

Dog people!

A few years ago, Maya gave the advice to spend time at a dog park even if you are not a dog owner.  And in late 2019, Maya ditched the non-dog owner tag, as they brought home a pup of their own.

Six plus years together, and still no ring.  But, it seems that in 2020, first comes living together, and then come fur babies.  Beyond that, it’s anyone’s guess!

Cam Newton’s girlfriend Kia Proctor is the mother of his kids.

And how many kids are there, exactly PlayerWives.com?

Well folks, there are three, and one more on the way!  First, the woman commonly referred to as Cam Newton’s wife gave birth to a son, the couple’s first child.  Cam Newton’s son is named Chosen, which must have been complicated to explain to the family. It turns out that Cam’s “rock the cradle” touchdown dance was a direct reference to their new child. Newton wouldn’t comment on this touchdown dance at the time. He now explains that he didn’t want to take any attention away from his team.

Cam even claims that his son Chosen was walking – at a mere one month! Obviously this was a joke. That said, it certainly wouldn’t surprise us if Chosen Newton inherits some athletic genes. Cam’s athletic talents aren’t up for debate, but don’t forget Shakia Proctor’s place in this equation.

Their second child, a daughter named Sovereign-Dior Cambella Newton.  She was born February 3, 2017.  Their third child, another son, was born on July 6, 2018.

In May of 2019, Cameron Newton’s girlfriend was revealed to be pregnant with their fourth child!  Congratulations to the Newtons!

Cam Newton’s girlfriend and her former life.

Cam Newton’s girlfriend Kia Proctor is a former stripper (which she did under the name Hazel). Stripping isn’t easy – you try sliding up and down that pole for hours on end and see how sore you are at the end of the day. PLUS, there’s a lot of losers in there.  In her former life as an adult dancer, she worked for the famous Washington DC Stadium Club. The assumption is that Kia has given up her former career. She has done plenty of modeling work recently. This newfound modeling career, along with a relationship with the prohibitive NFL MVP favorite, likely closes the door on a return to the stage & pole.

Cam and girlfriend Kia Proctor made their first public appearance at the 2013 Kentucky Derby. The then unknown Kia sent the internet to work to learn more. This research eventually showed that Cam and Kia were expecting a child. While initially just a rumor, the couple eventually confirmed the story. Especially after Cam did the “cradle a baby” touchdown dance in week 17. Cam Newton’s girlfriend Kia Proctor quickly became a national story.

Are these two still together?

At one point there were rumors swirling that Cam and Shakia Proctor might no longer be together. This rumor came from the subject and tone of a DM Tweet that Cam sent to LA Radio personality, Promise B Mae. That story remained relatively quiet and may have been genuinely friendly in nature. Now that the couple has a child, and with Cam being very open about calling Kia his girlfriend, these rumors have been put to bed.  I’d say child number 3 can assuage those concerns.

Ryan Zimmerman’s wife Heather Downen Zimmerman is a dedicated mom of two kids.

And one more due in June, 2020!

Yes folks, Ryan Zimmerman’s wife is expecting their third child and first boy in 2020.  This added a layer of complexity to Zimmerman’s plans for baseball during COVID-19.  Zimmerman made the difficult decision to sit out during the pandemic season, in part because of the added risk of pregnancy and a newborn.  It’s a bummer for Nats fans, and I’m sure more of a bummer for Zimmerman himself.  But, a decision that makes sense nonetheless.

Before kids!

Before becoming a full-time mom, Heather worked two cool careers. First, she worked as an associate producer at a news show. Then, she became a sales rep for a tech firm. She is certainly a capable person, but she decided to become a full-time mother shortly after marrying Ryan. They dated for years after she returned to the D.C. area after graduating college. She stated in an interview that she didn’t care about baseball when she met Ryan.

Ryan Zimmerman became engaged to his girlfriend Heather Downen the day before the Nationals 2012 opening game. As the story goes, the couple was walking around the DC monuments when they got to the Lincoln Memorial, where Zimmerman dropped to one knee and proposed. Zimmerman and Downen had been dating roughly two years. To add icing to the cake, Zimmerman scored the winning run for the Nationals the next day.

That’s usually a very good sign for a professional athlete seeking a long-term relationship. It means she wasn’t going after him for fame or money. Ryan Zimmerman’s wife said she doesn’t think it’s Ryan when she sees him on posters or television. She means she only knows Ryan the person and not Ryan the baseball player. Heather is also a big fan of the girlfriends and wives of the Nationals’ players. She is happy they book flights together, and I know that she’s friends with a bunch of them.

I saw a crazy thing recently that involved the Zimmermans and their small daughter Mackenzie. They were apparently on an episode of TLC’s show Playhouse Masters. In this show, they build playhouses for kids. Ryan spent fifty grand to build this enormous castle playhouse for their daughter. Ryan Zimmerman’s wife said it was “unreal.” It certainly is not something you’d give your four year-old if you’re looking to not spoil her.

It surprised me that it only cost fifty g’s. It looked like a miniaturized mansion. It’s very obvious that Ryan and Heather love their kids very much and are extremely generous to them. Both Ryan and Heather are big on the charity scene. Ryan received the Roberto Clemente Award earlier in the year. They love to be part of the community.

Downen, originally from DC, currently works at a technology company in DC. She also helps out with Zimmerman’s charity, the ziMS Foundation. The foundation raises money to fight MS, which Zimmerman’s mother is diagnosed with.

Ian Desmond’s wife Chelsey Desmond married him in 2010 and together have four kids and a fifth of the way.

This isn’t college sweethearts.  It ain’t high school sweethearts.  There two are fifth grade sweethearts.

Ian cited Chelsey being pregnant and his four young kids among the many reasons he’s elected to sit out for the 2020 season.  While ian addressed many items of concern that led to his decision, he also noted the increase risk factors with four young kids and a pregnant wife.  COVID-19 is a bitch, man.

Despite the young kids, it seemed that Chelsey never misses home games. While Ian is in the city, you can rest assured she will see him play. The Washington Post wrote a long piece about Chelsey and her kids. It explained how she keeps her up until late hours so they can see their dad. Five young kids though?  That ain’t gonna be easy come 2021.

Fifth grade, man.

Chelsey herself is a full-time mom. Like we mentioned, she met Ian way back in Sarasota, Florida in 5th grade! Now that they live together as man and wife and with four (and a half) kids, they try to provide structure for everyone.  Both of them believe it’s important they meet other kids who aren’t just baseball kids. Ian Desmond’s wife cares a lot about raising them right, and so does Ian. It’s a logistical problem sometimes to find normal kids for your children to hang out with, apparently.

In fact, Ian Desmond’s wife Chelsey started “dating” him in fifth grade. She became instantly drawn to him when she saw him at the age of ten. Chelsey played soccer and volleyball and softball in school. She even earned a scholarship to Lynn University in Florida. She didn’t attend the school because she missed her hometown too much. They only officially started dating in 2005 after Ian completed his first season of Major League Baseball. Chelsey made the statement in the article: “When you’re dating a baseball player, all anyone wants to tell you is, ‘He’s cheating on you.'” She then said he was the best boyfriend ever. I imagine that translates to him being the best husband ever too.

Patrick Reed’s wife Justine Reed is the mother of his kids.  More on that in a moment.  But, in the golf world, Patrick Reed always seems to be lurking on Sundays.  I suppose that’s what happens when you’re the #24 golfer in the world.  It’s Masters week here.  And, since we expect to see Patrick Reed on the leaderboard all weekend, we figure it’s time to check back in on the happy Reed family.

That’s right folks.  The 27 year old Reed has two children.  His oldest is a daughter, Windsor. Well, her full name is Windsor-Wells.  But that’s a mouthful, so let’s just call the baby Windsor, okay?   Their son, Barrett Benjamin Reed, was born in December, 2017.  Folks, two young kids and a stressful career ain’t no damn joke.This couple also has quite a lot of history that’s been covered by the media on places like heavy.com. I’m going to summarize a lot of the stories that have come up about them, their families, and the tour. Let’s get started…

The elephant in the room.

There are many stories out there relating the struggles that Patrick has with his family. Reports have said that his family did not want Patrick and Justine to marry because they believed he was too young.  Some sites have reported that he’s now disowned them; didn’t invite them to the wedding, and hasn’t spoken with them since. In fact, his family was removed from a PGA event, simply hoping to enjoy their son play the game he loves. Patrick Reed’s wife Justine was in the crowd, and when the security came to escort Patrick’s parents out, they told them that it was the wishes of Justine. So I don’t know if Patrick even knew about it before it happened, but that’s some harsh treatment to your parents.

Patrick Reed’s struggles don’t end with the family.

There’s also plenty of drama from his peers. There is a bunch of other stuff about how a lot of players dislike Patrick and his attitude. He was caught on camera using a homophobic slur after he screwed up a putt, but that’s just bad luck for him, as I see it. People love to be self-righteous and pretend they’ve never made mistakes.

Patrick has a long history of other golfers hating him. He didn’t get along with his teammates at Georgia when he was there, and then when he transferred to Augusta State, his golf squad almost kicked him off the team. So he’s sort of been painted as an unlikeable dude by a bunch of other players. Justine was his caddie before she got pregnant, and at one point she almost died after suffering a seizure in a bathtub at a PGA event. Patrick saved her life by giving her the Heimlich maneuver after finding her underwater. The doctors said she would have been in serious trouble if he’d found her 10 or 15 seconds later. Patrick Reed’s wife Justine Reed was literally saved by him.  Read into the rumors about him as much as you want, but he saved someone’s life. That’s got to count for something, right?

Chris Kirk’s wife Tahnee Kirk is a hottie.

Look, we’re not being misogynistic about it.  Chris Kirk loves to tweet about it.

To be clear, this isn’t the first or last time he bragged about wife’s looks. Regardless of whether all this boasting is good or bad, I imagine we can all agree on one thing, when a husband thinks the mother of his two children is hot, it’s a huge compliment and a loving endearment.

After marrying on August 29, 2009, Chris and Tahnee Kirk got to work. The Kirk’s have three young kids.  Their oldestFoster was born December 2012. Their youngest was born in September of 2017.  In her spare time, Tahnee Kirk used to write a blog called The Kirks on the Road. She appears to have let the site lapse, and with two kids under the age of 22 months, it’s pretty easy to imagine how that could happen. But you can still see the archives at thekirksontheroad.blogspot.com.

The couple appears to be very content together. It seems they learned how to keep each other happy early in the relationship. At the beginning of their marriage Chris Kirk was quoted in the Knoxville News saying, “Even only after a year of marriage, I’ve learned you pretty much listen to what your wife says.” Perhaps the old adage is true; happy wife, happy life.

And a happy marriage is definitely needed with Chris Kirk’s challenging 2019

But, 2020 is definitely off to a better start for the family.  Chris seems healthy and is atop the leaderboard at the Rocket Leaderboard Classic after two rounds.  Easy to root for this family to continue on the right path.  Chris was once a top 20 player in the world.  But, now faces a daunting journey to climb back to that status as he hovers in the 250 range.  If anyone can overcome that adversity, we’re willing to wager on Chris.

David Price’s wife Tiffany Price is the mother of their two kids.  She gave birth to their first non-barking child in 2017, after they were long time K-9 parents.   Their second came in August of 2019.  David and Tiffany married in November, 2016.

It’s not often that a player who’s had as many struggles with fans and media would be so open on social media.  But, this version of David Price, and David Price’s wife are proud of their little boy.  David Price’s son, Xavier is stealing the show at the 2018 Postseason press conferences.  Hey, it’s gotta be pretty damn late for the little man.  The fact he’s awake helps the cause.  The fact he’s adorable helps more.

Back to David Price’s wife.  Tiffany classifies herself as “big city smart and small-town friendly” in her Twitter profile.  And I’m sure David Price’s wife has a heart of gold.  But she did poison the well a little back when she called Boston Red Sox fans “POS”.    In her defense who knew that the then Tampa Bay ace would sign here a few years later.  But, we’ve all been there: frustrated and want to declare everyone something (like POS). And while it’s a bit of a broad brush to assign every Sox fan on earth the POS tag, we’ve heard it before. That said, it’s probably pretty easy to assign a title to a group if faced with harassing comments, ridicule, or even the occasional thrown beer.

David Price’s wife certainly loves their very famous dog, Astro.  She’s quick to retweet the many times MLB accounts like to share all of Astro’s awesomeness with the world.   Tiffany informs us that “Astro is just like his daddy- farting in the car with the windows up.” And now you know, folks.

Patrick Mahomes’ girlfriend Brittany Matthews attended the University of Texas at Tyler. She played soccer there and identifies herself as a soccer alumni. In fact, the official UT Tyler sports website posted an article about her on May 15, 2017. The article announced Brittany signed to a professional soccer team in Iceland. The name of the team is UMF Afturelding. She also said she didn’t envision playing college soccer when she graduated high school. Brittany told the paper she attended UT Tyler because it was close to home and because she knew friends there. She added that her participation with the soccer team renewed her love for the sport.

Brittany’s last post from Iceland came on September 11, 2017. She mentioned she was “heading out of Iceland” on that day. She said she would miss her teammates. In fact, Patrick Mahomes’ girlfriend already knew someone there before she arrived. She joined another UT Tyler player when she signed up to play in Reykjavik. A teammate named Chestley Strother also signed to play for the team. It is unclear whether Brittany’s contract lasts more than one season. Since neither Brittany nor the UT Tyler article mention the length, we cannot say. However, Patrick told UT Tyler Sports he works out with her. He said he knows she put in all the hard work to achieve professional status.

On May 10, Brittany joked on social media that just when she thought she would get a tan, she signed the contract to play in Iceland. After she returned, Patrick Mahomes’ girlfriend quickly found herself in Kansas City in September. On October 9, she posted a picture of her and friends attending a Chiefs game. Brittany is also friends with Tyler Bray’s wife, Jennifer, and Alex Smith’s wife, Elizabeth. She called them her girls in a photo from October 15. Does she know other Chiefs ladies? Who else is she pals with? Does she like Kansas City?

The Guardian reported on July 15, 2016 that the same company paid a 200,000,000 dollar fine for “cheating hopeful salespeople out of millions of dollars”. I suppose the story of Brianna and the impending marriage is relatively traditional for a sports couple. They actually met before high school.  This love story goes back further.   Mookie and Brianna began dating in middle school. Based on this, it would not be a stretch to say that Mookie and Brianna are extremely innocent and even “pure” as a couple. My mind is always completely blown when I hear about couples that have only ever been with each other and continue their relationship into old age. That’s an impressive location for that news to be dropped out there.  Comes before his title of father.  Comes before his endorsement deal, bible verse, college, and even his home town area code shout out to Daytona Beach.  Honestly, we kind of expected this post to be about Raheem Mostert’s girlfriend, so we appreciate the clarification.

And honestly, that’s really damn smart.  Raheem and Devon Mostert are new to this whole fame thing, while also balancing being new parents.  Gunnar Grey Mostert was born in June, 2019, and Raheem took to post the incredible news.

Raheem Mostert’s wife entered the picture when they were freshman at Purdue, and they have made it seven plus years together since.  They tied the knot officially in March, 2017.  That says a lot about the strength of their relationship.  They started dating in college, and survived that entire time.  Then they made the transition to pro ball, which is a challenge unto itself.  But, imagine that challenge includes stints with Philadelphia, Miami, Baltimore, Cleveland, New York, and Chicago over two seasons.  All this happening before finally landing a home in San Francisco in 2016.  Those two surviving is inspirational.

Francisco Lindor’s girlfriend Nilmarie Huertas is a newfound Cleveland Indians fan.

You’re dating the biggest star on the team,… yeah, that’s kind of an understatement.  OK, maybe it was a dumb lede.

Mr. Huertas has been in the bigs for a few years now, but Nilmarie learned to love the Indians pretty quick. Since he is earning 540,000 bucks a year, they haven’t yet reached that critical mass where you can buy mansions. But, it’s coming.  Oh boy is Frankie Lindor gonna cash in.  The couple have been together since at least November of 2012, which was when Nilmarie posted her first picture on Instagram. That picture happened to be with Francisco and his mom. Francisco was wearing a Puerto Rico warmup outfit.

Nilmarie characterizes safe sex as “getting married and being faithful.”  She posted a picture of a condom wrapper with a ring inside it. I guess the implication is that a condom is unnecessary as long as you’ve only had sex with one person? I might be jumping to conclusions, but that’s what Francisco Lindor’s girlfriend Nilmarie Huertas seems to be saying. There is a pattern of selfies that she posted over the course of about ten weeks. In it, she takes the exact same pose of herself in a car. She puts her left hand up next to her tilting head and smiles. It’s funny when you see all the selfies next to each other because they’re all the same. Though she seemed to notice the pattern and stop making the pose after awhile.

Russell Westbrook’s wife Nina Westbrook married him in August of 2015. The two met in high school and are best friends. They grew up together, and she watched him become the player he is today. In April of 2017, Nina celebrated her new pregnancy with some baby showers!  Their first son, Noah was born in the spring of 2017.

Nina celebrated her birthday in December, and again Russell made her a sweet social media post because he loves her so much. He even said honestly “I just hope you love me back” which strikes me as a very human sentiment. Russell included a charming picture of a pregnant Nina smiling and walking. Since Russell wears fancy and stylish clothes and often sets style trends, Nina must also match his level of fashion. Of course, she is interested in fashion and looks very sharp in everything she wears. That even includes her pregnant gear!

In a recent article by Bleacher Report, his teammates said they don’t know what Westbrook’s workouts consist of because he keeps them a secret. As you can imagine, Russell Westbrook’s wife is also a big fan of the gym. She has to take it easy now because of the baby, but you best believe she looks fantastic because of her gym work! On their one-year anniversary, Russell again posted a celebration picture and told his “Suga” how happy he is to have her. He seems like a sweet dude once you get past the tough exterior.

Oh, roughly an $80,000,000 contract for the Chiefs star DT.  Things are looking good for Chris Jones long term financial security, which also seems to bode well for his long term girlfriend.  Chris definitely has two kids, and it appears that Chris Jones girlfriend is the mother to both.  The self described boy mom notes that God first, son second.  So as we usually do, we’re probably reading too much into things here.  But we’re at least leaving the door cracked open that Sheawna is mom to one of Chris’ kids.  No matter the biological relationships, it’s a tight family unit.  They’re definitely enjoying life as an NFL family, even before they just got an 8 digit payday!

Gerrit Cole’s wife Amy Crawford has been in the picture for a while.

In 2011, Gerrit was the first pick of the draft.  Gerrit Cole’s wife Amy (who was then his girlfriend) was there.  Gerrit Cole was the visage of optimism for a long suffering Pirates fan base.  His big league debut was met with much hype and anticipation.  The pressure was already borderline suffocating.  With enough pressure already thrown atop the 22 year old, there’s probably not a whole lot else which could add to his anxiety.  But, it also can’t help to know you’ll be squaring off against a man who would be your future brother in law.

It was the Pirates vs the Giants.  And, the Giants shortstop is of course Brandon Crawford.  See where we’re headed  Yes, folks, in this case, Gerrit Cole’s wife Amy Crawford is the sister of San Francisco Giants shortstop Brandon Crawford.  The man who stepped in against the man who became his future brother in law for his major league debut.

Pretty cool.

Gerrit Cole’s wife Amy Crawford was also a pitcher at UCLA.  Crawford was obviously pitching for the softball team. After graduating a couple years ago, Amy was able to attend Gerrit’s debut against her brother.  And that all happened, despite her old UCLA Bruins softball team heading off to the College World Series. Amy was a sociology major who graduated in 2011, who also listed Will Smith after favorite actor, Friends as her favorite TV Show, and Oceans 11, 12 & 13 as her favorite movies.

As for allegiances – for once, it doesn’t appear to be a totally split decision. Amy didn’t mind announcing by Twitter that she’ll be sitting in the home section with the other Pirates wives when Cole toes the rubber for the first time. Fortunately, she can revert back to her Giants allegiance after the game as an October meeting is unlikely between the two squads for this season.

Austin Dillon’s wife was was a hot topic on this site a few years ago.  Why?  Well, winning the Daytona 500 tends to have profound impacts to search traffic.  So with that in mind, let’s do it, folks!

Whitney Ward is a pretty hot cheerleader for the Tennessee Titans. The two officially tied the knot in 2017, and Austin Dillon’s girlfriend officially took on the title of Austin Dillon’s wife.   In 2020, they revealed they are set to introduce their first child to the world.  The name?  It’s pretty badass.  Let Austin tell you.

There was little else to glean from the public persona of Taylor Walker’s social media. Alas, all things must fade, and this relationship also faded.  Austin and Whitney clearly have a good thing going now, so imagine Taylor Walker is long in the rearview mirror.

Jacob deGrom’s wife Stacey Harris is the mother of their two children.

Jacon deGrom’s wife gave birth just a couple years apart.

Their first child, Jaxon, was born in April of 2016.  Jacob deGrom had been on the shelf for a couple starts with a lat issue.  But, his time away from the team would be extended. On April 16, deGrom was placed on the family emergency list due to complications with Jaxon. There are no details as to the condition of the child. It’s often an empty, vapid colloquialism to say “thoughts and prayers”.  But,  I cannot imagine what Jacob and Stacey went through. Our sincerest thoughts and prayers are with the deGrom’s.

Their daughter, Aniston Grace was born in February of 2018.

Let’s talk about the carefree days pre-kids

Back when days were a little less stressful, Jacob deGrom’s wife Sacey Harris was livin’ the dream. She married the National League rookie of the year Jacob deGrom. As if that’s not enough, she’s sitting next to celebrity chefs and occasionally heading off to Hawaii to catch some rays. What more could you want out of life? TMZ Sports gave a kind of super-excited rush interview before he left for dinner with Stacey.  As usual, the TMZ guy was way over the top and energetic.  Jacob looked a little tongue-tied by the guerilla questioning.

For Jacob deGrom’s wife Stacey, things could not be better. Stacey took part in a Mets community outreach program where she made duct tape wallets, lanyards (I’m not sure what those are), and bags with youngsters. Apparently a lanyard is one of those things that you hang around your neck for your keys. Gym teachers and coaching types use them for whistles too. So she’s already into the giving-back aspect of being a player wife. Helping kids and less fortunate people is one of those great things good sports organizations hook up their players and significant others with.

The couple’s trip to Hawaii is just one of those classic honeymoon destinations that you can’t go wrong with if you’re a valuable athlete. The more you pay, the better your getaway will be– that’s the golden rule of big relaxing vacations. Speaking of value, Jacob is still at the point where he’s getting the rookie bucks even though he’s the rookie of the year. That means he’s being paid $500,000 a year instead of something way higher, which is sure to come.
